Arnott-Steel Psychology
Clinical Psychologist
I’m Nick, a registered Clinical Psychologist, offering online therapy and psychological assessments for adults in Christchurch and throughout New Zealand.
With nearly a decade of experience, I work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges including ADHD, anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and life transitions. I also provide comprehensive Adult ADHD assessments, particularly for adults who suspect they may have ADHD and are seeking clarity, understanding, or formal diagnosis.
My work draws on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), all tailored to meet your unique needs and goals.
I understand that reaching out for support can be a big step. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, curious about whether ADHD may be playing a role in your life, or simply wanting to better understand yourself, I’m here to help.

As part of my commitment to giving back, I fund the planting of five native New Zealand trees every month through Trees That Count, a charity dedicated to restoring New Zealand's native forests.
These trees help restore habitats for native wildlife, improve biodiversity, protect waterways, and create healthier ecosystems. That's 60 native trees every year.
By choosing Arnott-Steel Psychology, you're not only investing in your own wellbeing, but you're also helping restore New Zealand's natural environment for future generations.
